I lowered my car recently with dropzone springs. Its a 1.75 drop all around if i remember right. At the same time i put in a set of tokico illuminas. I have the shocks/struts on the stiffest setting but the car seems to be a lil lower in the rear. The problem I am having is the rear tires are hitting the quarter lips on bumps, its chewin up my pricey p-zeros. So to try to fix this I adjusted the panhard bar and i rolled the quarter lips. It got better but no totally gone. I should also mention Im runnin 4th gen offset wheels so theres 2 inch spacers in the rear, rear tires are 275/40/18. Before I have to buy new tires can anyone reccomend a sping I can buy to raise the rear up just a lil. Also do you think I should go to a 1.7 spacer for the rear or will I encounter rubbing on the inside of the tire. Any help would be really great.

I would stay with a 2" spacer. I have been running the same rims on my camaro for about a year and a half now and if you go any smaller than a 2 they will probably rub on the inside. I think your best bet for springs for the back would probably be stock springs.

Those are stock IROC style replacement. If you can get just the rears it might be worth your while. My wheels sit with about a 2.5 inch gap between the tire and the bottom of the fender. It doesn't rub at all and the gap doesn't look that much since its the rear of the car.

Just my advise though.....

 

Ill have to try puttin my stock iroc rear springs back in and see how that looks. I have a feeling itll give to much rake but, maybe I can cut them down a lil? Id like to ideally get the back level with the front. What about 4th gen isolators, I recall them being a lil thicker than 3rd gen ones. My isolators looked a lil flattened out.

If your rear isolaters are worn out that could definitely be an issue too. You can ussually find replacement ones on ebay pretty cheap. Another option would be to cut the IROC style springs just be careful how much you cut them because if you cut a lot off it will change the dynamic of the spring itself and can cause a really bouncy ride.

 

Part number 5665 at auto supply stores. Many members complain that they sit a bit high (I'd agree).

why not just add some material behind the spring isolators?
Even a piece of plywood cut to the right dimensions would work as long as it was behind the rubber isolator.
You could go with a 1.7 spacer as long as you are willing to do a bit of hammering/ grinding. How much room do you have on the inside of the fender well?
