There's why it's SO CHEEEP.
Want to get in on the ground floor of a development project?
Not saying it's a good or bad deal, or any of that; but I'll tell you FOR SURE, I don't want serial # 0001 of a piece that my life depends on.

I'd be waiting until there's a bit of feedback from other more adventurous souls, because I'm a wimp.

Re: too good to be true?
i found that the other day. I know from being around here that the GOOD name brand tubular k-members have breakage issues from stress under street driving conditions, and now here is a piece, made by some off the wall company, probably out of someone garage, and its real cheap. Im a FIRM believer in "you get what you pay for" and from experience i know this to be true. I would stay away. and if you really want a tubular k member, at least get a Spohn, they are at lease a legitimate business and can warranty things.
or, UMI is developing one with dual tubes forming the main hoop, just like their 4th gen ones, and they should be stronger then any on the market. Probably not going to be cheap, but i would trust my safty to this piece over a no-name brand anyday.
