Can I run long tubes...
Do I have the clearance to run long tubes on an 88 IROC vert dropped with jamex springs approximately 1.5" I have a 383 with the fastburn heads waiting to go in and would like to go with Hooker 2210's? or are shortys my only option? thanks
Re: Can I run long tubes...
The headmans tuck up closer than the hookers. I've never personally run the hookers, so I can't speak for them, but I had no issues with my headmans and a 2" drop.

Re: Can I run long tubes...
The hooker long tubes tuck up nicely under the car. They are about even with the bottom of a stock k member or just slightly below a tubualr one. My car is pretty low and I never had issues with the headers. My clearance issue was with the exhaust where it dropped under the trans crossmember. My car also has 3.5" exhuast on it which dosen't help.
