Yeah, I know a lot of people who love 'em. That being said, strictly for "traction", the BFGs and MTs are better.

I have 18" MT Sportsman SR's. For a street tire I like them a lot. I have only tried them in rain and on dry pavement but they are pretty good IMO. The SR's are only rated to 130mph tho.

thanks for the opinions guys, i will be driving it on the street more than the track so i think those will be what i get. my friend has them on his car, and loves them. if you got any pic's of them or your wheel and tire set up, throw them up here. mine will be on black gta rims.

I also am thinking of picking up a set of the 555r's.

But in a 275/40 17. I use the car on the street and Autocross/Road Race.

Don't confuse the M/T Sportsman SR with typical M/T tires that are a track tire and don't have much in cosmetics. These are a performance radial that will outhook a Nitto 555r any day of the week. If you are looking for a tire that loves daily driving and will grab very well from light to light AND works very good in wet weather yoyu should research the tire some more. I have had a set of 555r's before and the Sportsman SR really performs better in wet conditions and for grabbing from a dig. They cost a bit more than the Nitto but I will put them back on my car when it comes time to replace. I have never had my car to the track either, its just a weekend and nice weather cruiser.

Grab the nitto's, they don't make an S/R in a 16 inch rim.
