rear control arm relocation brackets
I read the sticky and I have to say that I am way more confused now that before. dont take offense I am a tard
all I want to know is if I put them on my car will it help to lanch it better instead of spinning the tires
I have a 2.77 and I am looking to go to a 3.27 and with my current gears I cant even hammer down on the pedal at 30 mph
do I have to change the pinion angle- if so how

What they do is to allow you to adjust them to the correct angle in order to relocate the instant center (the imaginary point at which the suspension applies its accelerating force to the car mass) to where the car doesn't "squat". Since the act of the car "squatting" corresponds to attempting to lift the rear off the ground, they help to "plant" the rear, by pushing it down instead of trying to lift it.
If you have worn-out or defective suspension parts, or weak springs or shocks, or hard-compound tires with no traction (which would be, most any "high-mileage" aka cheeep tires like Pep Boys, Cooper, most private label brands, most BF Goodrich street tires, and other low-bid ones), then you need to fix those things, before "modding" the car. Just like you shouldn't start putting cams and heads and whatever on an engine that's worn out and has no compression and smokes, you shouldn't mod a defective suspension, either. And of course, no amount of suspension mods will overcome traction-less tires.
