Re: to low?

had my old car lowered 2" it looks nice and isnt that bad to drive just have to be careful going in and out of parking lots the only time i saw any kind of a real problem was when i pulled it into work and tried to get it over the lifts so if you dont work in a shop and you go and get tires put on it tell them to be careful or they'll rip some s h i t off lol

Lowering these cars is a piece of cake. The struts/shocks are seperate from the springs so there are no special tools required...aka: spring compressor.
It's all pretty self explainatory when you look at it and can be done with common hand tools.

Re: to low?

lowering the 3rd gen is simple and easy in the rear. the front is a pain in the . a spring compressor and alot of swearing is how you do the front. when i was younger my cousin showed me what a spring under a load letting loose can do....to this day i fear any spring under a load, even on a compressor...lol. there is alot of energy in a loaded spring.

Re: to low?

my front was easy. then again every single part under the car was removed at one point. so i set the springs in and bolted the a arms up with new bushings and went on from there.
