measuring a sway bar?

Axle/Gears: 3gen housing zexel torsen posi 3.42
measuring a sway bar?

anyone know how? i need to find out the size of my sway bars to get bushings for em. thnx for any info.

Digtal calipers is what I use. You can switch between metric and english units.


Lacking that you can use an adjustable wrench to get the size and measure the size with a tape measure.

Slide an open ended wrench over the bar until you find one that fits snug. It won't tell you if it's imperial or metric but can be a quick way to check the rough size.

Make sure you take the measurement from the center of the swaybar. If you go somewhere else, the measurement might be skewed because of the bends.
