Hi i bought a spohn rear coilover kit and I just unpacked the spring and shock combo and my coils are covered in nicks and chips to the paint. Spohn said thats how they come from QA1 and i find that very hard to believe. Has anybody else had a similar issue?

 

Yes its very common. They are basically made a dime a dozen and thrown in a box together. Coils like this are trown around race teams trailers and shops and are replaced often. Not much put into looks. Just coated for corrosion protection.
