WS6 is just a code, aka RPO(Regular Production Option) code that tells the people building it on the assembly line what options they need to add to the car. Depending on the year you got different things with the WS6 RPO code; 16" wheels, limited slip diff, stiffer swaybars, etc.

Take a look for your RPO sticker, check under lid of Center console. You can download the decoder of this site and it will tell you all the options of you vehicle

Re: WHAT DOES 'WS6' MEAN ??
WS6 is the Pontiac RPO code similar to the Camaro Z28. It's an option code but not a specific item code. If a car has the RPO code G80, it has a posi. Z28 and WS6 may or may not mean that the G80 code is included.

Somewhere in your car should be the list of the RPO codes. Camaros have it inside the center console. The RPO codes will tell you everything your car came with from the factory. A previous owner can always change things.

You may also take the VIN number to the dealer and get a copy of the line ticket which will also say everything about the vehicle as it was built down the assembly line.

Re: WHAT DOES 'WS6' MEAN ??
It was generally under the center console lid...the rear glove box lid, or occasionally under the rear seat carpet, if the assembly line person didn't just throw it away.

The RPO code WS6 was a suspension package of springs & swaybars.

Re: WHAT DOES 'WS6' MEAN ??
WS6 means that you have the "performance suspension" package. As iansane told, it depends on witch year it was made. Take a look here, and scroll down to your model year. Then you see what you got!
