Progressive Rate Front Spring Install
Simple question but I have not found the answer to a yet and am still searching...
When installing progressive rate springs that are more tightly wound on one end of the spring which way goes up????

On a thirdgen there's really only one way that the front springs will go in properly. They are matched to the pocket and must be indexed to the drain holes.

As far as indexing them yes, but both the respective top and bottom of the spring is uneven and can be indexed. I'm pretty sure I figured it out; the tighter wound part on the bottom...
At least it makes sense since that would be the stiffer portion. Plus, the manufacturer name would be right side up this way (not that this really means anything).

On my Eibachs the top is flat and the bottom has the pigtail.

Are they progressive rate? If so, do you happen to remember where the tightly coiled end went?
Mine are cheap Intrax springs and neither of the ends are level, however, the tightly coiled end is slightly more level than the other.
