Strange 12 bolt and wheel combo help
I am looking to get a strange 12 bolt and plan to run the willwood rear disk brakes. I will also be running Spohn's rear coil over conversion but I cannot find much info on any problems I may face with wheels...
I want to run 18x10 at the very least but prefer 18x10 and I may go with 17" wheels to help with some traction. Anyone running a setup like this, or close? Any problems that I should be worried about?
There is a lot of money involved here and I do not want to have serious problems after purchasing all these parts.
Thanks

if the rear is the same width as stock, you would want 6.5" of back spacing. It may require some slight massaging of the front of the wheel well, nothing to major.
6.5" of bs will put the tire about 3/8 to 1/2 in form the outside of the fender lip

the outside of the wheel will be like in this pic, though the tire will be narrower
buy the rear first, wait until you have it then deal with the wheels. My moser 9" ended up being 1/2" narrower on each side that my 10 bolt was, so i had to install longer studs and use 1/2" spacers to get my tires where they needed to be.

I have the Strange 12 bolt in my Camaro - you can either get it like stock (same width as stock) or 4th gen width. You should have no problem with 9.5" or 10" tires under either width rear - as long as you get the proper backspacing.

Thanks guys. I'll get it all in the car then order the wheels last.
