Ive got a question i just bought a 91 camaro and when on the freeway the car starts to wobble really bad and then goes away. The tires are in rough shape im getting those replaced today and aligned. What else would be causing it?

Re: car wobble
Not trying to be smart. But, why not wait and see if the new tires/balance/alignment fix the problem?

Re: car wobble
My wheel's have been balanced recently, but the rears still shake the car. It starts at ~65- sometimes it's worse than it is at other times which is weird.
You probably just need to have them balanced

Re: car wobble
Check your idler arm. It connects the drag link (the steering bar that crosses under the oil pan) to the frame on your right front steering. Push up and down on the drag link where it connects to the idler arm. If it moves up and down it is worn out.

Re: car wobble
What a combination of not so good things.
You replacing the struts and tie rods? If so, it'd be a good idea to replace the strut tower mounts at the same time as the other two. That way, you'll just need one allignment. The mounts are usually are usually worn out if the struts are. Get some good quality ones. I put the cheapos from Advance Auto, and they were shot within a year. Also, the rear shocks are probably shot if the fronts are.
