i just put an eibach pro kit on my camaro and the passenger side is sitting about a half inch higher than the driver side. i have tried adjusting the panhard bar, springs and lower control arms, nothing works. any ideas?

Re: uneven suspension
I have the same problem. Front drivers side of the car sits about an inch higher than the rest of the car. using the same springs you are. When I first put them in someone at Eiboch told me to let them settle for a few weeks but that side just never went down. I saw a thread around here about the GC hight control adjusters. Was thinking of using those to even out the stance but if there is another way to fix this I'm all for it.

Re: uneven suspension
Make sure the isolators on the springs are correctly placed on the spring. Also the spring goes nicely on the axle a certain way. With the lowest coil towards the back of the car. Thats all i got.

Re: uneven suspension
ajk, as for springs 'settling,' perhaps they do, but I haven't experienced it. I swapped in new fronts and rears months ago, and they haven't settled a fraction of an inch. Did you verify that the fronts were indexed properly?

Re: uneven suspension
if i heard someone say their suspension was uneven, i would think the springs were clocked wrong also. however, that is not the case in this instance. im starting to think that maybe the rear control arm is bent or twisted and is keeping the suspension from sitting properly.

I agree about the isolators. I usually tape mine to the springs so that they stay in place. 89, the only place that I've ever read about rear coil indexing is here on TGO. The shop manual makes no mention of it.

Re: uneven suspension
Are the end links the same size from one side to the other? Are they installed correctly?

Re: uneven suspension
Still stock end links. Could them being the stock end links be an issue as far as ride hight goes? I was going to put in one of the front end rebuild kits this summer.
Re: uneven suspension
congrats, u got a genuine GM vehicle, the spring do take a little bit to settle, but thats not ur problem,
i was angry when i installed the prokit because the car sat uneven from front to back and sided to side. so i measured the spring pocket to chasis, depth, in the rear, and 1 side was deeper than the other, poor chasis construction, causing that side to sit low, i thought that was wierd so i measured my moms stock unmolested 1998 v-6 camaro with less than 30,000 miles the front right side was 1.5" higher than the left front and the rear was just as whacky. theese cars are cheaply put together and the sheet metal used in the chasis might vary in size from car to car, causing unprdictable ride heights. my solution was to take the highest sitting wheel and use rubber shims of different thickneses to balance out the ride height, i also trimmed down the springs a bit in the front before i levled out the ride height
the first springs i had were tockicos, and they had the same problem as the eibach, it's the car, not the springs,
