Sway bars/ wonder bar came today!

Hey guys i got a 36mm front sway bar and a 24mm for the rear. Along with a wonder bar. I am going to be getting the poly bushings and everything at once and hope i can feel the difference!? I am going to be sand blasting them and painting them a bright red! For 100 bucks thought it was a good deal!? Sorry that pics arent the best i was trying to show how much bigger it is then my original.

That seems like a good deal to me, too. Not the best, but you certainly didn't get riped. Let us know how it feels when everything's on. Should be a noticable difference if you ever push the car much.

Re: Sway bars/ wonder bar came today!

that's a great deal! i think i paid about $120 combined for my 36/24mm and wonder bar. i lightly sanded them to get the loose rust off then sprayed them with brake cleaner. then i primed and painted them with Rustoleum. they came out looking great. i also used poly bushings and endlinks. you're going to notice a world of difference- i know i did. i'd like to see how it comes out. good luck!

Re: Sway bars/ wonder bar came today!

The real difference you'll see is when you get some good shocks on the car. The sway bars help, but shocks/struts....wow

Re: Sway bars/ wonder bar came today!

Got them primed today and going to wet sand them later. Might do it couple times to make everythings good. Then might see paint in next couple days!

Re: Sway bars/ wonder bar came today!

It was a good idea to grab them. I did my bars before shocks too.
I wish I'd spent more time on my painting. Mine are starting to look like crap.

Re: Sway bars/ wonder bar came today!

I made some charts showing the difference in stiffness of the different sized swaybars... but where did I save them on my computer?

I have one comparing front bars and one comparing rear bars. I've got too much to do lately so it may be a couple days before I'll be able to post the stuff. I'm on my 15 minute break from homework at the moment, then back to the books before I have to go to work tonight. IT NEVER ENDS!
