Re: alignment?

The struts control your camber.

If your smart, you'll mark the strut mount locations on the fender wells, before you unbolt them, then you can get it pretty darn close, without paying for an alignment.

If you have one of those lifetime alignments, just go tell them it doesn't seem right, but don't mention the new struts unless they ask.

Re: alignment?

you dont have to remove, or move the strut mounts to change your struts. No alignment needed

ok thats what i was thinking because the previous onwer had the mounts replaced and i have only put about 5- 7000 miles on the car sense i have owned it and wasn't planning to replace them unless they cause a problem with the steering or something later on after i put on the new struts

provided the previous owner had the car aligned after he replaced the mounts, you are good. Does the car track straight? do the tires jump, or push, when you are turning at close to full lock?

well i personally had the alignment checked and it was "perfect" says the shop that checked it. and as of the last time that i posted i have got the struts and shocks on the car and it drives perfectly fine and it feels way better.

fyi- i installed lakewood 90/10 on the front and i put summit three ways on the rear and they are set at 50/50. car feels way better when i bring it up on the converter and let her loose, weight transfer is way better and the ride didn't really suffer from the 90/10's like every place said it would.
