Jegster/Edelbrock Mix ?
Hey guys, on my 88 bird I have Edelbrock 68722 Headers. Has anyone used the Jegster 40053 bolt-on subframe connectors with the Eldebrock Headers? I was wondering about clearance on the passenger side, where the "Y-Pipe" collector is.

Yes, you should have enough clearance avail, but mine was very tight when I was running a 4 inch exhaust at the fitting from the end of the y-pipe to the catback system. No real major issue, just would hear some rattling from the adapter from 3" y-pipe to 4" connector. The connector would rattle again my sfc.

Hey thanks mcbchild,
I found a guy parting out a 91 RS who had the Jegsters on his car, so I got them at a good price. You are right about the clearance between the floor pan and the "y-pipe".I had to get my son to pry down on the pipes so I could shove the connector between the pipe and the floor pan. It was tight , but it fit. And man want a difference they made. The car is really tight. Must of the rattles disappeared, and she handles like a dream. I wish I would have done this sooner. She is so much more enjoyable to ride now.
Anyway.....Thanks for the reply !!!!
