TQ Arm question, is it needed or not??
See my 1984 camaro orginally came with a 5spd, well now it has a built 700r4 auto, so the TQ Arm bolts up differently between the two, and i cant find a way to make the orginal one work on my 700r4. So can i just remove the TQ arm completely or do i need it, and if i remove it what kinda problems would i have? The car will be driven around locally when the weather is nice and at the strip every friday night!

are you kidding me? of course you need it. If it wasnt needed why one earth would it be there?
It holds the rear from rotating. If you remove it, the rear will twist upwards and probably destroy the driveshaft and rear suspension.
You need the correct torque arm bracket for hte t5, or an aftermarket torque arm relocation kit or crossmember mount torque arm setup.
Check out UMI, Spohn, or bmr for torque arm kits.
