rattling from rear

Im having some rattling sounds from the rear after changing axles, just want to check if the shock are loose from the top.
Its not exhaust and theres nothing loose under the car, been to an exhaust shop been on the hoist shook everything and found nothing wrong.
Just need a page to show how to remove the plastic covers in the back to check the top of the shocks.

Re: rattling from rear

ratting ? it may not be related to the recent work you did, I would say safely run it on jack stands (having you a second pair of ears always helps) and see if you can hear it from the outside and double check all you fasteners

Re: rattling from rear

Done that, had it on jacks and on hoists with numerous people.
Shaking everything on the bottom, sway bar, calipers anything removed or new.

It's been awhile, but you may be able to simply pull the carpet from under the plastic. The shock is covered with a white foam piece that lifts out.
