i recently acquired an 89 camaro rs convertible with the 5.0 tbi. The car has sat high in the front since the day i got it, couldn't figure out why, has newer struts in the front and the coils look ok, then the other day i noticed that after backing into a parking spot the car sat like it should. So i tried pushing it forward and backwards and sure enough you can actually see it raise when i go forward and lower as i go backwards. I'm completely stumped as to what it could be so any help would be apreciated.

 

i would assume that this is more of a suspension question. i think that would have something to do with your springs. maybe a new set of springs or some lowering springs would solve the problem, but im no expert on this

 

For what it’s worth… my ride did that when I picked it up… the end links on the rear sway bar were non-existent… they were rusted so bad they were gone. After new end links and bushings all around, as well as restoring the sway bar, the condition ceased.
