I need idiot proof instruction on how to reassemble the tilt column on my '89 Firebird. I disassembled it to tighten the loose bolts, and now I can't get it back together right.
I Have seen and read the instructions on this site and on the Buick site, and while they are very comprehensive, they do not cover the assembly for manual transmission columns with a key release lever.
I Have been messing with this column every evening for a week trying to get it back together right, but in the end, the ignition switch action doesn't feel right, and the key release lever doesn't feel right either.
Does anyone know where I can get an old factory service manual that the factory would use to train their workers with?
