Re: subframe connectors
Its a subtle improvment, has a more positive feel when really hit the corner fast. I would classify this is as more of a supporting mod and after actually feeling the difference would recommend these to anyone who is modding their car as the first step.
When I jack up my car I can really see the difference because of how the whole side of the car comes up, not just the front tire.

Re: subframe connectors
while money is the prime concern if i have to spend it and there is no difference in cost i generally spend it on people who are doing what i am doing and support the 3rd gen site.
plus lon is one heck of a nice guy. he sells them then you drive 20 minutes down the road and dyno don welds them on.
easy trip.

Re: subframe connectors
alstons have an excellent reputation. they are well made and they fit like they are supposed to.
with any sfc you need to load the frame so that it is they way it was new. all cars tend to bow in the middle so when you put it in you need to raise it so the wheels hang down and the middle downward bulge becomes straight. then you put them on.
a lot of work so i will pick mine up from lon and drive 20 minutes down the road and let dyno don put them in for me.
you need to use the search key here for alston's as well as the ones you mentioned. you should also google.
dont just listen to me or anyone else. research and make sure it is what you want and need. i looked for 6 months so that when i wanted to buy i knew what i wanted.
some like round sfc other's like the box.
i got no idea which one is stronger but since we are not generally running 500+ hp i dont think it makes a difference.
i always liked alston but i like others too. spohn is good - there are tons of good ones, so go with price.
but research so you know what fits your needs.

Re: subframe connectors
yeah i hear ya..... i just need a set of sfcs... i think for a daily driver i dont think anyone is going to be much different.... its not like im going to be racing it...... i liked the bmrs because i saw the pic of how they are installed and they fit my exhuast routing perfectly.. they dont hang down like the alstons do and my drive way is steep and i know with those it will scrape....i do work underneath the car and the bmrs set seem to be perfect for jacking up the car as well.... i dont need the best, i just need some sfcs and to queit down on my squeaks and rattles..... and since i have purchased bmr things like the tpi brace..... i was satisfied....

Re: subframe connectors
I just watched the Group Purchase section and waited till someone started a UMI GP and I bought from them, with Labor Day in September, I am sure some company will have a sale.
Re: subframe connectors
Correct! There are a lot of good manufactures out there and no matter what type you get it will be a great suspension modification. I also want to suggest that UMI Performance offers a set of SFC's. Below is a link to show you what we have too offer!
http://www.umiperformance.com/catalo...t63v0driodksr2
If you have any other questions feel free to ask and I will be more than glad to help!
Thanks

Re: subframe connectors

i have heard of verts using them too.
good luck.
