Re: just installed BMR subframe connectors

Well I removed the AC from my car (47lbs), Fiberglass hood (30lbs). Looks like I have already lost the weight I will be adding in for support. Not to mention my many aluminum parts on the engine. SFC are the best bang for the buck as far as any support related parts.

88fast, now its time to see yours... 1 more day 1 more day.

Hey man, I'm about to tear my AC/blower out too to make room for my MSD stuff. Question is, is there any way to just remove the AC and not the blower motor so I still might have heat? It's not really a car that needs heat but I'd like to keep it should I ever cruise in cold weather.

Re: just installed BMR subframe connectors

ok i will... it will be alot stronger than the factory weak setup.... you should get the matching torque arm to get the full benefits of the setup.... i think they go hand in hand... but i just got my alstons today through fed ex....

Re: just installed BMR subframe connectors

Make sure you get multiple pictures of the SFC's. Like, lots, maybe even a video, also make sure you got lighting under the lift as well. Sorry I'm a picture maniac.

Re: just installed BMR subframe connectors

I'm guessing you're referring to my crappy un-lit pics with a crap camera lol... The alignment guy was rushing me when I was taking them... He even started lowering the car like a jackass while i was under there... I swear, no respect..

No yours are fine pictures. I can see everything you took. I'm just a picture happy guy, the more the merrier. When I get mine I'll end up making a video, probably showing how tight they are to the frame and such just because.

Re: just installed BMR subframe connectors

well guys it looks like i got one of them welded on today by my brother and i have pics...i will take better pics by friday of both sets welded in... the alstons i drew a blue line and the bmrs i put a red line to show you to two different sets....the passenger side was no problem but the driver side alston connector is a pain in the *** to install because of the fuel lines.... we are going to have to unbolt the lines and move them abit so we can weld the driver side in... i will take MUCH better pics when the driver side is installed either tomorrow or friday for sure... ground clearance was actually better than i thought with the alstons
