I need to get the stray out of the front end before I let my college daughter take over my 90.
I'm basically looking for a decent parts source (not junk) that won't break my bank account. I don't mind spending a few bucks for the good stuff, but I'm not looking for road racing parts. $$$$
I'm looking for decent stuff...so? Recommendations.
Lot's of local parts stores here, but having spent a lot of years in the reman/cheapo parts biz, I know that a lot of what is out there is crap. What's money-wise, but good stuff for the front end?
Just looking for leads from folks that have tried it all.
I've searched a ton of threads, but, money being tight right now, just need some good suggestions.
Only been in the third gen stuff for about 6 months now...I love 'em.

Moog or MqQuay Noris are well known for being good. But watch out for outsourcing within brands. It's been rumored, but I haven't run into it myself.

Check the steering box to see if it needs to be tightened as well.

Thanks Scorpner. The other threads I looked thru mentioned the outsourcing thing. The stray's not really bad, but I noticed yesterday that braking when turning a corner gave me some shudder, too. First time it's done that Straight line braking has no problem..
Guess it's time to get serious and start my parts hunt. Probably go with Spohn, as it seems to be the general consensus, and I'll get all I need in one shot.

Make sure you add the (2) lower ball joints to the Spohn steering kit. I installed that kit and it is a good choice for one stop shopping for quality parts that fit..

 

No problem, it was kind of interesting looking it up and finding some new things too.
