Because the V6 in it now, is the V6 that came with the chassis. It is just another Camaro body dropped on to the S-series truck chassis & drivetrain.

but with the time and fabrication im assuming is involved with doin this you think they could swap a motor fairly easily. granted, i have no idea on the previous condition of the car so it may not have even had a running motor

Re: UNIQUE all-wheel drive suspension setup
There's a difference between all wheel drive and 4x4. Anyone can drop a third gen body onto a 4x4 chassis. It's a lot harder to make a proper all wheel drive and keep the same ride height.

Do a google search. You'll find lots of cars dropped onto 4x4 chassis.

Re: UNIQUE all-wheel drive suspension setup
Well if this SH*T is usually done with the S-series trucks. Then couldn't you take a Syclone (S-10 Chassis) with turbo 4.3, AWD, and drop a F-body onto it????

It's been discussed fully including trying to use an AWD Astro van. Check in the fabrication forum.
