B4C Police Intercepter
B4C Police Intercepter
I have a 02 Camaro with the B4C package. I've converted it to 6spd, QTP headers and 3" Y pipe, Corsica catback, K&N cold air intake, 85mm MAF, and Superchips tune. Can anyone tell me what type of suspension parts the police camaros have? How else do they differ from, say... Z/28 or SS?

Re: B4C Police Intercepter
I agree, would like to see a pic or two.
I have info on 2001 model.
Very similar to the 2000 model. The 2001 B4C option six (6)-speed manual transmission, or the four (4)-speed electronically controlled CAGS ("Computer Aided Gear Selection") automatic overdrive transmission, on top of the Coupe base list price of $00,000. It included a now 310 horsepower 5.7 liter LS1 V8 engine and 340 lb-ft of torque (increase of 5 lbs), a performance all-welded exhaust system designed to reduce noise and vibration, and newly styled 16-inch aluminum wheels mounted with 245/50ZR16 blackwall all-season performance tires. Also included were four (4)-wheel vented anti-lock disc ABS brakes, power steering oil cooler, 140-amp alternator, heavy-duty 525 cold-crank- amp battery, heavy-duty electrical systems for the amount of gadgets that will be put into the car by the police department. As well as 155-mile per hour speedometer, performance handling suspension with revises components, and the limited-slip rear axle ( 3.23:1 automatic or 3:42:1 manual). The B4C also included Z28 bading deletion, color-keyed roof, power everything (windows, door locks, and six (6)-way power driver seat) as well as cruise control with resume feature and remote hatch release.
