LCA relocation question

LCA relocation question

sphon has a good deal on lca relocation brackets and mention they can be used with stock height cars.

i read even with stock height you get better traction


is this true/worth it?


im putting in SFC's from UMI and while im under there i figured id replace the stock lca/panhard bars and then i noticed the relacation brackets.



this is for my fun ride/daily summer driver. not for racing. but i like it to handle ebtter than stock like a champ ya know.

well, for the best handling, the lca want to be about level, if you lower the axle side you can get better straight traction, but traction in turns will suffer

Hello
Like mentioned above the relocation brackets will increase your traction performance as for straight line performance. And also help eliminate wheel hoping issues. But if the vehicle is a corner carver then you will notice a little bit of over steer. I also noticed that you had a set of our SFC's and I wanted to thank you for the business. it can be because the arms are angled up toward the axle when the car is lowered, so the lcarb can help re;level them

Like 86 TA said hes is correct. The relocation brackets allow you adjust the lower control arm back to the correct angle. Seeing how when a vehicle is lowered the front of the control arm is higher than the rear (axle). Now with the brackets they eliminate the wheel hop issues due to the incorrect angle and gain back your traction performance that was lost. If you have any other questions feel free to ask.

I understand...I think you might have misunderstood me! I was talking about when you install the brackets on a lowered vehicle then the front of the control arm will be higher than the rear (axle) side. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
