tire sizes needed
First thing I would like to say is that Auto parts swap meets rule! This weekend there was one at the local fair grounds (first one ever, in this area) and on top getting to rumage through vintage auto parts.. I managed to buy a pair of glass T-tops, a rear hatch with the rear defroster, and a matched set of IROC wheels, all for less than $200!!! But my question to you guys, and I know it gets asked alot.. but what sized tires are you running on 16x8 wheels? I want to be safe.. but I also want some /realy/ fat tires in the back. Any pics you might have would be great too

Stock were 245/50s. You can run 255/50s, but there rather hard to come by and throw off the speedo a little bit. Any wider then that, and you run into handling problems.

Depends on your goals as far as sizes go.
If you're going for traction and that large tire look in the back you could go with either 295/50/16, 275/50/16, or 265/50/16.
Like Justin said the larger you go the more you effect handling.
If you want good traction with good handling I'd recommend you go with Nitto NT-555 255/50/16's in the rear.
