Actual size of tires..
Im looking to get tires for the rear preferrably 255/50/16's,I have 255/50/16 right now on the front and they are SZ50's.I want the rear tires to be wider. The SZ50 is almost the same size(even smaller) as my 245/50/16 Futura tires...I want something thats wider than the SZ50's with the same or better traction capabilities.I need actual width of these tires..

Not all tires are created equal.
I've noticed the same differences you mentioned above as well.
This is a problem you'll find when you mix brands.
My advise is get some sticky tires, like some Nitto 555's, in 255 size and hope they are as wide or wider than your fronts.

I used to have 225/50/VR50 Goodyear Gatorbacks on front. I compared them to a set of 245/50/16 Firehawk SZ50s. There isn't much of a difference. The SZ50s are by far the narrowest tires I have seen for their size, much more than they should be. Goodyear makes some nice, wide tires... their 255s are meats. Same goes for the Futura Ultra Zs, and some Dunlop tires as well. I have Sumitomo HTR-Z 245s up front now and they are good and wide.
