If ladder bars aren't street worthy and 4-link requires tubing the car...what's left?

I was very close to buying the Comp Engineering ladder bar setup until people we're letting me know about the rough street conditions. If someone could explain to me exactly what the problem is please do so I can understand it.

And like I said in the title, since most suspension and chassis companies recommend traction bars, ladder bars, and 4-links and those are apparently out of the question on thirdgen, what are you supposed to do to keep the tires planted??

An explanation of the suspension can be found on http://www.calgarydragracing/4link.html

As for keeping the tires planted it all depends on your setup. I have Herb Adams lower control arms and panhard bar all with hiem joints. Steve's torque arm. Air bags in the springs. Factory shocks. That was it for rear suspension modifications. I never got a chance to properly test of the LCA relocation brackets this year. I just got some more pics of my car when it was at the track. A couple were taken as I was launching. You can see the wrinkles in the sidewall of the rear tires. Because I still don't have drag struts, the front end is still on the ground but there is a wider gap between the front tire and the fender. If you look at the pictures you can see that the rear of the car isn't squatting and I was pulling low 1.7 to high 1.6 60 foot times on a 26x10.5 ET Street.

Chassis setup and weight transfer can work wonders if set up properly.

Well, I could invest quite a bit of money into a thirdgen sponsor...Steve Spohn

All are with chrome-moly rod ends:
-adjustable torque arm (race version)
-fully adjustable lca's
-relocating lca brackets
-adjustable panhard rod

Wouldn't mind getting the TH350 retrofit crossmember too
