i have an 88 iroc z when you turn to the left you hear a rattle and clunk noise. hit small bumps in the road and it does the same thing. im thinking ball joints or control arm bushings. but at this point a tie rod end may even be the culprit. any help???

 

First thing I would check is the sway bar end links. They will rattle so you want to pull your hair out.

 

yup thats what it was on my car so i have to agree with this. They are cheap and easy to replace. I recommend getting the energy suspension set. I was surprised at the difference it made.

BTW if they are rusted on just cut them off because if you bolt them off and they are stuck chances are the bolts will just break anyway. PB blaster helps tho.

 

I would also replace the mid links with poly while you're at it.
