'84 TA......rough ride, the way it was meant to be.

when I first bought my car it had really "hard" suspension. the ride was very harsh and unforgiving.the nose didn't dive while braking or lift up while accelerating.Driving over a contsturction site littered with pebbles seemed too rattle me out of my seat. To many people, this kind of ride is most undesireable. To me this is the way it should be,true sports car suspension, that is what I bought the car for. Now after some hard driving it feels more like the $500 '80 Lincoln Towncar I had before. with a little TLC, I'm hoping to return it to better than original performance,I'm doing: frame connectors, strut tower brace,LCA relocation brackets,PST front end rebuild kit/bushings/ball jts./tierods(any good by the way?),rear bushings, torque arm bushing.
then most Importantly: 1.5" lowering springs, shocks and struts? which ones will tighten up the ride the most? on my nieghbors car('98 Z28),the suspesion was so tight, you could barley push the car down one inch on any corner.thats how I want it.what would be the best S.S.S. combo for this type of application? will coil overs help? I'm not lookin to improve drag launches, just want an overall "battle ready" suspension.
I suppose I should just call a tech rep.,but then I'll just get put on hold with some crappy music forever.thanx for your time everyone, apprieciate the help.

I have the Energy Suspension poly torque arm bushing & trans mount. I didn't notice much extra with the trans mount, but the torque arm bushing firmed things up a lot, made cornering tighter.

I agree- I feel the harder the car rides, the more muscle-car-ish it is!
