Turns normal left, easy right

My TA for some reason now seems to turn perfectly normal to the left, but when I turn to the right, its like a Cadallac, REEL easy. What could this be? I don't recall hitting any major bumps or pot-holes.

Thanks

yup,it's the PS case alright, don't buy it from the dealer! I found a liftime warrantied PS case at auto zone for $189,three 16mm bolts hold it onto the D-side frame rail(one is under the angle brace)you need clean drain pan,a pitman arm puller,16mm or 15mm,11mm,10mm socket, extensions, swivel bit.I used a large flathead to pry the shaft away,it should telescope between the couplers, just oil it a little.you need at least a foot hight lift in the front to acces

it's not hard to do ,just time consuming,I heard bleeding the pump properly is a little tricky though.

it's a piece of cake job.. while you're at it do a good job of checking out the rest of your suspension.. if your power steering box is toasted i can only imagine what your tie rods look like!!!

don't forget, new PS belt while you're at it, they're a BITCH to get on right, do the job right bro
