to box or not to box..............??

my 89 iroc needs suspension upgrades. Should i box the stock stuff, while adding poly bushings or get the big dollar tube stuff. Also i noticed that the LCA'S have a bolt-in beef up bar. While this helps little , with the boxing it would add to it. Either way i just want to here whta you folks have done, so i can build mine right the first time and inexpensively. Also brand names and comments are welcome. thnks to all

depends on your budget. the aftermarket stuff will be stronger, but boxing what you have cheaper.

I've got my stock LCA's and panhard bar that I had boxed with polyE bushings for sale if you want them. You pay shipping and I'll take $40 for the LCA's and $25 for the panhard bar (all of which were brand new before having them welded.) I can get you some pix if you'd like to see them.

I'm a shade curious as to boxing- won't the welding bubble the paint up? And won't the control arms rust inside?

Should everything just get painted anyway, and if the inside paint bubbles up from the welding, who cares?
