alright try not to laugh i cut my rear springs half a coil didn't seem to do anything but then i cut half a coil of the fronts and know my car sits higher then before? Know that i think about it i believe i installed the fronts incorectly having put the end coil of the bottom coil on the outside of the wheel instead of facing the last coil on the inside of the wheel. I did cut from the bottom only. i guess i just assumed that was the correct way to reinstall them. The reason i didn't buy springs is that I'am thinking of getting the coilover suspenion in the spring so i figured i would see how my car looks lowered with my knew chrome zr-1 wheels feeling ambitious at the time.

I got the springs out today and i need to know how on earth you are suposed to bend the top coil like the one that you cut off? I also need to know how to set the springs in, if you rotate the spring 180 degrees either way it will effect how the car sits i thought if you put the bottom end coil on the outside of the wheel it would help drop the car but my car sits the same if not higher then before. I know after bending the coil it should make the spring about 3/4 inch shorter so i need to do that yet, but how?

to bend the coil back like it was take a torch and heat the coil then flip it over and press it down till it gets where ya want it.Do not cool the spring with water let it cool naturaly. The springs have notches in top of the spring tower, find the notch and put the end of the coil against it.That should get ya right.
