PROBLEMS WITH NEW BRAKE SYSTEM
ok i just installed all new brakes on my iroc.. everything. rotors, calipers, lines pads. everything and after a few weeks the started to make a really bad grinding sound when stopping. not a sqeak a grind.. and god knows all of us hate to hear that noise.. does anyone have any clue what it could be?
ps i would have gotten 1LE if i had known about being able to interchange. but i didnt know much this summer about all of that..
any help could help me get my car ready for spring..thanks all

I would take the wheels off again and check everything carefully. Spin each wheel inturn before removing it as this may identify which brake is faulty. Look for any signs of metal rubbing against metal or loose bolts etc. I always use thread lock on brake bolts as I have had calipers fall off with previous cars.

Thanks man.. i will pull the car out of storage and try that next week. i hope i find what it is. and i hope it doesnt cost too much.. i am kinda low on funds.. anybody with any other comments please help..
ps..would air in the lines do this.. and i have never changed the rear pads.. or even bleed those.. thanks..
