'97 WS6 springs on my '86 Firebird V6?????

Would this be a wise buy. A guy is selling his stock '97 WS6 springs & I was wondering if I should buy them for my '86 Firebird & it has the V6. Would it raise the car up too much or what? So would it be a worthwhile investment or no??? Thanx

The rears will fit perfectly. The fronts wont fit.

AGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!! Oh well, it was worth trying I guess. No point in getting the rear installed if I can't get the fronts to work. Whats so different about the springs in the front?

I've never seen a 4th gen front suspension up close, I just know its a totally different system than a thirdgen. But our rear suspension is the same. Shocks, springs, LCAs, panhard rod, gears (10-bolts only), and posi (28 spline axles only) all fit both 4th and 3rd gens. But the axles and wheels do not, as the 4th gen rear end is wider than a thirdgen. Sorry if you already know this, just passing it along for anyone else.
