Bought Adjustable Panhard rod, need help...

I just got a BMR Adj. Panhard Rod. How will I know when it is adjusted correctly? Are there any measurements I can take for a before and after type thing? Thank you!

When I got mine I just took the bolt holes on the old rod and adjusted it until they matched each other and I could stick 1 bolt though the holes on both rods at the same time on both sides with no probs. Slips in and out easy. Then tighghten the adjuster nut down and intall. This centered the rear under the body real well since it is the same measurement as out of the factory was. Hope this helps.

If you want to get real precise with it, you can take the car to a front end place and get them to adjust it until the wheelbase is square, then do an alignment. You can het real close by doing what 327 said, or by just setting it so that the rear end is centered between the fenders with the car sitting level on the ground.

After that measure the distance between the rear quaters(outside lips) and rear wheels. Do this for both sides, this will give you a estimate of how the rear is centered. Factory settings were close, but not always dead on. Then just adjust the panhard bar in the according direction. Make measurements with the car on the ground and adjustments with rear lifted(easire that way). Hope that helps
