difference in springs

I've got a 92 RS with stock suspension, and i'm planning on adding a STB, SFC's, and a wonder bar. Would if be worth the trouble to put springs off a Z-28 on it, or is there even a difference?? Do Z's use a stiffer spring or strut, or is the stuff i'm planning on doing going to be enough to make my car handle in the corners??

Actually I read an article about some IROC and Formula springs. It stated that they were ridiculousy stiff for the car and the best spring would be the softest spring that will not allow it to hit the bumpstops. I think it was Performance Suspention Tech (PST).

I believe this because I have a formula that rides worse than a truck and an 88 RS that rides fairly soft (Never been in one that rides like a Caddy)
