Attn Brake Gurus

Sometimes my brakes sound and feel like I am trying to crush rocks with them. Serious grinding sounds, but not at a consistant speed or pedal pressure. I replaced every thing in the front end about a year ago. Nothing looks wrong to me, or to any of the brake shops I have been to. Anyone have any ideas on this? The car still stops good, but I don't like the sound it makes. Thanks

That sounds like somewhere I haven't looked. Would the bushings be a part of the caliper assembly, or is this one of those parts that the counter guys has no clue on? Thanks for the tip.

You can get them in a kit with the bushings and o-rings from anywhere.

BTW, you should always use something similar to Dielectric grease on the caliper bushings, I can't stress that enough, it made a world of difference on my car.

Dont want to appear flippant, but yuor best bet is to throw them away and fit a set of Baer brakes. Its the best mod of all the ones I have done.Your car will be transformed.I cannot stress how good they are and no,i dont work for them,i'm just a very satisfied customer
