Rear Brake Job & Parking Brake Adj.

I just did my rear brake shoes and the parking brake fully disengages from what I can tell. My only concern is that the parking brake is fully engaged at about half the height as it used to be. Is this normal? I was under the impression that the parking brake was always supposed to be straight up.

Any help is appreciated,

Jason

You now have more pad there, so the park brake lever is right. As the pads wear, you will notice the lever going higher and higher.
