Roll cage and SFC's together

ok i know i can get both RC and SFC's but do they have any that tie in together. to make a solid cage/frame. that is what my car needs. i hate it when it bends and creaks. i have no cracks on the body yet but i will if i race my car this summer so i am stiffening it now. how much is this going to help. and who should i go to when looking for one. i want a chro-moly. and what are the best SFC's. it has to be the best so i never have to deal with it again.

Kind of a tough question to answer. Third gens don't have full frames and adding SFC still isn't a full frame. As far as NHRA is concerned you don't have to attach the bars to the SFC of a unibody car. If the cage is properly installed to the floor, it will be just as stiff as if it was attached to a frame.

Although my car isn't street legal, check out the pics on my web page on where and how the roll bar was installed.

Installing any kind of roll bar or cage will restrict access into the car. Swingout side bars can be used at the doors but because of the rear cross bar behind the front seats, anyone having to get into the back will have a hard time.

hey stephen i love your car and i was checking out your site. i am looking at an 8pt not a 10 and i dont plan on having back seats i dont like people riding with me, more than one person and the driver can cause problems. ok i was looking through jegs a few seconds ago and they had one kinda like what i described. the cage and frame connectors get welded to the body in the same spot.
ps. i know we dont have a frame .. that is why they are called SUBFRAME connectors (not trying to be a smart a$$) i was just trying to say.

Rare, i think South Side Machine sells SFC's with roll bar mounting pads. Definately the way to go. Tie that car together in as many places as you can. The last i knew, swing outs were not NHRA legal.
