Urethane front end kit, Is it worth it
I have over 213,000 miles on my 86 IROC. It needs an alignment and tires, so I figured I should do it right and replace the bushings, tie rod ends and such while I am at it. I have seen ad's for a complete front end kit from PST for $159. I have also heard that they squeek. I don't like spending money twice so I want to do it right. Are the Energy suspension bushings worth spending more on? I appreciate your opinions. THANKS!!

I just took my car out of its shell for a bit to see if there is a difference. I changed ALL my bushings and man what a diff. Very tight and squeek free. I put Energy Suspension polyurethan bushings all around. New tie rods in and outer. I put the master kit for 82-92 cars. Endlinks everthing is new and it was worth every pennie. I don't know about PST products but if your gonna go the ES way. Make sure everything is dirt free and tottally clean. When i took the front end apart i found out that i had a 1 1/2 sway bar. heheheh i had to machine a 36mm sway bar bushing ti make it fit right. Anyways its your choice but if want to do it right. Id go ES all the way.

I've had the PST kits twice and the ES once. ES squeaks far more than the polygraphite PST kit.
