Wheel spacer pros please help out 3rd----4th gen switch
Ok back in november I bought some spacers and the only ones he could order for some reason were 2.5" front 1:5" rear so I bought them the front ended up with the mounted tires (225/60/r16) flush with the fender and the rear (225/60/r16)with the tires way in about ah Id say 1.5-2" in from the fender :-(
I haven't had any probs up until this past month when I started racing the **** stangs on the back roads the ****ing back end trys to swing out cause of the weight transfer :-(
So I contacted the guy I bought the spacers from and asked if I could exchange the 1.5 for 1.75 like its supposed to be for a match up of offsets and he said he can't order the 1/4 but the wholes and halfs as in 2 and 2.5 and 3 and so on so will the 2.5 front and 2 rear make much of a difference. Also the supposed tire size for the 2.25 front and 1.5 rear is 245/50/r16 but my 225/60/r15 barley clear the front ground effects when I turn I mean like 2 quarters fitting throught maybe a dime and a quarter. Also there is a bushing in the rear that is right next to the upper tires the space between it and the tire seems to be maybe 1.5 inches so how the hell can 245/50/r16 fit with the closeness in front and the bushing in rear?
please help

I have 2' spacers and 99 TA rims. 295/50/16 on rear 255/50/16 on front. all I had to do is bend the upper lip of the rear fender. so try a 2' spacer and you should get a 255 in easy. Good Luck Bob
