Structural Stability

I was wondering if anyone else out there was having problems with windshield stress cracking due to body flex on high mileage cars. I have 140000 miles on mine, and the windshield has a really nice crack all the way across the bottom. (no, there are no rock chips for it to start from, it appeared while the car was stored for winter....)

Anyone else?

Add me to your list. My car developed the same thing at about 160K miles. I was sitting at stop sign and it was as though a rock hit right in the middle near the bottom. I sit and watched as it traveled both ways until it was all the way across. It was weird and up until your post, I never knew why it happened. I guess I should be glad I didn't replace it yet as I'm about to get SFCs!
