4th gen rear in third gen
In my time reading thru these posts I have noticed quite a few people talking about putting 4th gen rearends in their thirdgen. How hard is this? Does the rear just bolt right up? Do the 4th gen wheels need spacers or anything? My rearend needs to be redone, but if I can do this for the right price I could get rear disk brakes as a bonus. Any info would be great!

Yes, the 4thgen rear is a direct bolt on.
But it's about 2" wider on each side.
You can use your 3rdgen wheels with no mods, but they will stick farther out of the wheel well on the rear. Or you can use 4thgen wheels, they will fit ok under the rear, but will require spacers to fit properly on the front.

Redbird's right; the 4th gen rear is pretty much bolt-on to the 3rd gen cars except for the width; I'm doing one now with a buddy on his 92 Z.
