Tie Rod Replacement

Hey I have the old ones off and am getting ready to put the new ones on. Is there a TORQUE number for the bolts????

Ho do I know if they are tight enough.

Thanks
Brian

I think there is a torque spec for them, but hardly anyone uses it... Most people that I know of just tighten them up good so that they seat and tighten as necessary to put the cotter-pin through the nut...

1/4 turn before they break.

35 Ft-lbs, then tighten (do not loosen) as necessary to insert cotter pin.
