LCAs or Adj Panhard......?
LCAs or Adj Panhard......?
I am dropping the car this weekend with Jamex springs I got from BMR. I was also going to order one of their adj. Panhard rods but got to thinking........I am already going to have to slap relocation brackets on there so why not get the LCAs too. Question #1, which is better to go with first. My research says LCAs. Am I fooling myself??Question #2, When I go to have the relocation brackets welded up how do I determine the proper angle. Do I measure the angle that the LCAs were at when the stock springs were on and then weld accordingly? I'm sure they will outline this in the instructions but you never know. Thanks.

I'm JUST done with installing the Jamex springs from BMR myself about an hour ago - and without an APR your rear end will move over to the drivers side quite a bit. I know Im glad I got the APR. That being said - the APR was the biggest PITA to install. I got a Lakewood Industries one, and I swear that was the most frusterating and time consuming part of the whole deal. I installed the springs, APR and all the bushings up front.

The LCA brackets(Steve Spohn's for example)are made to be mounted first with the existing LCA mount on the rear and them welded to ensure strength. Then you decide where you want to position the LCA. Steve's kit provides 2 mount points:first point restores the OEM angle and second point gives increased traction on launch. These go with 2 being the lowest hole in the bracket. I have mine set at 2 and the results are great with no wheelhop and improved stability at highway speeds.
