Have Experience with SFC install?

Looking for some feedback on UMI or BMR SFC fit.
When I look under my car there is a large radius from the pinch weld to the floor. Doesn't appear a square tube sfc would fit tight to both the floor and pinch weld.
Do they typically fit tight to the pinch weld and leave a gap between the tubing and the floor? Has anyone had them welded to both the pinch weld and the floor? Seems maybe the floor pan would crack along the weld?

Trying to decide if I will be happy with buying a set (much easier) or if I need to put the effort into building a set (can make exactly how I want).
2" round tubing seems to nestle in so nice between the floor and pinch weld....

This is how close (or rather how far) the UMi stuff is away from the pinch weld

Re: Have Experience with SFC install?

Thanks for the picture Twin_Turbo, looks great.

Our SFC set up tucks up well next to the pinch weld with no interference. They pretty much fall into place and impossible to install incorrectly.

We have some pictures on our website seen here- www.umiperformance.com/2400

If you have any questions regarding our set up please ask. Thank you!
