Belltech drop spindle question

Have any of you guys put on the BellTech 2" drop spindles? If so, what did you do to lower the rear? all the spring kits I see are for all 4 corners, and I dont want to have to buy a full se just to lower the rear! Does anyone knoe where I can get springs for the rear only? Also, what are some goo springs for the front that are the original height, but stiffer? Thanks!

Thanks. I am getting another 3rd gen (90 IROC), and I want to do this one PERFECT. I've got a 92 RS now, but it has Jamex springs all the way around. I really want to have an elite thirdgen, I dunno why, maybe I'm a loser and I crave attention? Who knows

I want to use the drop spindles too, bad man are they pricey! Keep a lookout for some used springs, that would be the cheapest way to get the rear springs. Don't forget to get the LCA relocation brakets. As for stock springs that are stiffer... Get some IROC or WS6 springs. I can't remember the front spring code off the top of my head though. The IROC springs are the stiffest out there, and the WS6 is a step down (i beleive) If you want new i think you can get them from GM but they arn't cheap... $80 a pop?

If you find a place to get cheap drop spindles post it please!

carparts.com has them for $337.30, but you can get $100 off if you can find a 33% off coupon (look in hot rod mags or www.fatwallet.com ) It says they wont work with the 1LE package, but I am assuming you can modify them like ANDYZ28 did to his stock spindles. Here is a direct link to the spindles (gotta scoll down a bit):

On my old 86 Camaro w/Bell Techs, I used about 400 lbs of stereo in the hatch to lower the rear. Looked good until I pulled the system out to sell the car. I know you're going to cringe at the name, but JC Whitney sells Suspension Techniques springs by the pair, so you can just buy rears, not all 4.
