Has anyone replaced these before and where would you go to get aluminum ones and not cheap steal?

 

I don't think they make them any more. You'd have to find a pair from a junkyard or something.

 

I got mine from the junk yard.

The car is in restoration now and getting all new parts aluminum drums= oem

 

I can't tell you if they ar made yet or not but, the P/N is 1255496. As of the printing of this collision book (kinda dated) I have the price (wholesale) was $150/ea.

You can still order them from GM, But it's gonna hurt! Like 250 or 275 a piece.

 

ouch!!! I hope mine still have some use on them. Just a little worried, the car has 170k on the clock and figure they gotta be down there.

 

Saw a set in the junkyard yesterday, on a 84 HO Z28... no idea whether they're any good or not...

Try the Paddock, I just got their catalog, but I swear I saw them in there for $50ish each. My IROC has them and I was looking for replacements too and that is why I I remember seeing them.
